Everyone has an origin story. Drumroll…here’s ours!
Leisa Holland-Nelson and Shavonnah R. Schreiber partnered together on the stage during the half-day conference “Shine: Conference on Culture” on October 27, 2023.
The chemistry was so electric during the conference that people started asking what was next. Leisa prophetically said: “We are taking our show on the road!”
Someone in the audience said, “I know where the road goes.”
It went from idea to planning to sponsorships in only four months. 125 days later, on March 1, 2024, the first episode of Culture Club HTX was posted on YouTube, and is now available every week!
We’re committed to guiding our audience on a journey through immersive experiences and thought-provoking discussions and we’re just getting started.

Meet The Hosts
Leisa Holland-Nelson
Leisa Holland-Nelson is the VP and Chief Marketing Officer of ASTOUNDZ, a Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimization firm. Leisa is a fifth generation Houstonian who was raised to love Houston. Leisa says she has built her life around the notion of “doing well by doing good.” And she is really funny!
Shavonnah Roberts Schreiber
Shavonnah Roberts Schreiber is the Founder & CEO of SNR Creative, an advisory firm focused on business development, business communication and business transformation. She is a second-generation Houstonian who has a knack for asking the deep questions and a passion for leading and problem solving.
Both Leisa and Shavonnah are 2023 Texas Women’s Hall of Fame inductees. They are high-energy, optimistic, and are known as two women who don’t know what they can’t do.
